MUNHENGA- BEING A PASTOR








Afro-jazz musician, Dudu Munhenga has vowed to focus more on becoming a Church minister despite her musical background.


The 38-year-old singer, says that becoming a minister is a great achievement to her since she can now reach more people in a different way and be able to teach new things about God.


Speaking to her fans she says that she has not abandoned them but she can no longer perform at public shows, bars and nightclubs for she is now a Christian and some of her actions long back cannot be accepted for a Christian.


Dudu celebrates her 38th birthday this Sunday 13 January 2019 at a Church service, for this shows that she is a changed person and she is living a Christian life.


The Afro-jazz singer became a deaconess in 2010 after she was imprisoned for causing the death of a cyclist due to careless driving, during her time in prison she realised that God is the only source of hope therefore she repented and became a pastor.


However, Dudu says that she will continue her jazz music but in a Christian way for she wants to reach the multitude in a different way.

Dudu Munhenga is a singer/ songwriter, she started her musical career at a tender age and when she met with her husband in college they both decided to take their musical career to the next level.
