Dhuku for Tuku |
Youth, sports, arts and recreation Minister Kirsty Coventry has urged all women to wear a headgear titled 'Dhuku for Tuku' in honour of the music legend Dr Oliver Mtukukudzi.
The minister said Mtukudzi was an icon to the musical industry, therefore, people should honour him by wearing all black and women are supposed to wear a headgear which is part of the Shona culture.
She also said that men should wear African attire or formal clothes as a sign of respect to Mtukudzi.
the 66-year-old singer died on Wednesday afternoon at the avenues clinic after a long-suffering from blood cancer.
