Ammara Brown, ExQ, Jah Prayzah nominated for African awards

African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) is the sole award ceremony in the diaspora that caters to all musical genres including but not limited to Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Kiplife, Kwaito, Lingala, and Soukous.

Winky D is being nominated for the best African Dancehall/Reggae Act, Jah Prayzah for the Best Live Act, Brian Soko for the Crossing Boundaries with Music Award and OyOsMusic signed up artists, Ammara Brown for the Best Female Southern Africa while ExQ is nominated for the Best Male Southern Africa Awards.

AFRIMMA wrote, “We are not makers of history. We are made of history - Martin Luther King Jr. African music is writing a beautiful story and we are dedicated to keeping the history. The 5th edition of the  African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA 2018) is set to be another one for the history books.

October 7th, 2018 would see African stars descend on Dallas, Texas in celebration of the fifth edition of AFRIMMA Awards and Music Festival. Be ready for a couple of surprises this year as well as a magnificent show as the AFRIMMA team works tirelessly. African artists deserve all the accolades and AFRIMMA is there to hand the accolades.  Celebrating the beauty of African music and culture is the foundation on which the brand AFRIMMA is built.
