The late Jackie Madondo sister, Marbel releases a prayer song for Zimbabwe

The recently signed up OyOsMusic artists, Marbel Jeanry Madondo (MJ) the sister to the late Jackie Madondo, the singer-songwriter known for the popular song ‘Mazuva Acho’ has released a prayer song for Zimbabwe called ‘Simuka Zimbabwe’ to be launched early July she revealed to OyOsNews.

MJ was groomed and gained exposure by performing background voices for Jackie, Ivy Kombo, Buhle, Lundi, Tembinkosi and the late Vuyo Mokoena to mention but a few at the Nguvayakwana Concert run by Mr. Addy Kasi.

“The song ‘Simuka Zimbabwe’ is a prayer song for Zimbabwe that seeks to give hope to all Zimbabweans to stay strong and believe that God has not forgotten them, the trying and difficult times will soon come to an end.” MJ said.

A few years later she and her late sister joined  Shingisai Suluma ’s group ‘The Joystreet choir’ as a backing vocalist and featured on two of Shingisai's albums, after a few years she embarked on a vocal training journey were she trained church choirs in and around Zimbabwe.
