Hardworking Jah Signal set to spread wings beyond Zim boarders

The ‘Kupinda Mubako’ chanter Jah Signal speaks to OyOsNews recently and he has vowed to take on the international market regardless of the Shona language he uses when he sings.

He is banking on his management team which he says it is a team that any musician will ever dream of. “My management team always analyze what the fans are saying about my music especially on social media that is why I always maintain that chemistry with the fans because I know what they want.”

He said, “This year my major goal is to penetrate the African market. I would like to be recognized all over the African continent and I believe by the end of the year it will materialize. Some critics point to the fact that I sing in Shona so my music will not be received globally but I know nothing is impossible.

Music is a language on its own which is understood by everyone. How many people in the world really understand Jamaican patois? Yet dancehall is cherished worldwide, he said.

“Well, the secret behind any form of success be it in music, business or any form of human endeavor whatsoever is hard working and having clearly set predefined goals. I do work very hard and I always try to find ways to perfect my art in order for me to stay relevant.” Jah signal said.
