Artist Lordrique Muvengwa urges parents to support children at a tender age

Once a victim of being denied access to follow his musical dream by his father, Lordrique Muvengwa with the stage name Toxx Lodriq said parents must support their children to follow their talent because education is not the only key to success.

Toxx Lodriq 25 years old is a graphic designer by profession, an Urban Groove/Afro-pop artist (Songwriter) who started music when he was at primary level, Grade 4 to be specific, under Mhanduwe Express Sungura Band as a drummer and vocalist

“We worked together for about two years and left after ndarohwa nadaddy vachiti ndichaita rombe (bitten by my father insisting that I will be a no one) that’s when I started composing my own songs.” he told OyOsNews.

“I was young saka ndaitotiza mum and daddy vasingade (so I ran away from my parents) and it affected me academically for about two years up until my parents noticed, they threatened the band leader ini ndikarohwa handina kuzodzokera (was bitten thoroughly and never returned again).” narrated Toxx Lodriq.
