Terry Africa drops seven track EP

Hardworking Terry Africa

Terry Africa recently dropped a seven track extended play record (EP) named SUGARBOY which he is hoping to market his upcoming album that he is currently working on.

An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album. EPs generally do not contain as many tracks as albums and are considered less expensive and time-consuming for an artist to produce than an album.

An EP originally referred to specific types of album records but it is now applied to mid-length CDs and downloads as well.

Terry Africa said his camp now is focusing on producing the videos of the whole EP and preparing to record an album by end of this year.

The fans should brace for singles and collaborations with artists of different genres he said.
“I have just released an EP of seven tracks and we now working on the videos for each track on the EP.

“We are preparing for an album recording as well that is to be released end of this year.

“We are not relaxing or having time to rest as we have many artists on the line to do collaboration with,” he said.

Terry Africa said he always believed in himself, he never doubted himself to do what he is doing in the music industry.

He rates his fans and followers as his greatest achievement thus far and would want to continue bringing them closer.

Music has been his passion since he was young but rising to fame was his biggest challenge because he had no connection with other artists he said.

He said he is prepared to assists other artists because he understands how difficult it is to become popular.

“One of the tasks I have assigned myself to is to put a mindset in people that there are many artists to be discovered and raise the flag of Zimbabwe when it comes to music,” said Terry Africa.

He said upcoming artists need a chance for people to realise that good music does not only come from popular artists.

He feels that professionalism is affecting music management in Zimbabwe because they are few professional people engaging themselves in the music industry.

Terry Africa’s music can be purchased on OyOsMusic platform by on the website www.oyosmusic.co.zw.
