Jah Prayzah, Freeman impressed by OyOsMusic

President Emmerson Mnangagwa greets Jah Prayzah
Jah Prayzah and Freeman were honored to perform at The ICT Policy and Innovation Drive Ceremony held at The Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) in Harare where they thrilled the crowd with an exciting performance.

The duo said they were impressed by OyOsMusic’s innovation as it is aimed at uplifting Zimbabwean artists so that they celebrate the fruits of their music.

OyOsMusic was one of the six chosen innovators who received funding from the government out of 188 applicants.

The two artists said they are looking forward to engaging with OyOsMusic to sell their music online.

Jah Prayzah who had the President on his feet when performing his song Kutonga Kwaro said it is high time he signed up with OyOsMusic while Freeman highlighted that without a doubt OyOsMusic means business when it comes to promoting local music.

OyOsMusic is striving to do away with piracy by making sure that artists’ music is available exclusively on OyOsMusic Online Store where it can be purchased online. This can only be achieved if the artists signup with OyOsMusic.

Music piracy is the copying and distributing of copies of a piece of music for which the composer, recording artist, or copyright-holding record company did not give consent. It reduces the income the artist could make from publishing their music.
