Mudiwa drops new album


Award-winning gospel hip hop artist, Mudiwa Hood will be dropping his new album “Street Preacher” at Borrowdale Sam Levy’s village tonight. This will be the third album the artist will be releasing after his prior hit releases, “Magnet” and “Mwana waMambo”.The launch will be a red carpet event which will begin at 8 pm held at Sterkinekor Cinemas in cinema 2 and is open to all given that they have paid the requisite $10 in order to witness the event or $20 for VIP. The event was made possible by Power FM and Sterkinekor who will be the sponsors for the event.

Mudiwa, who is known mostly as a prolific rapper in the local music industry has decided to showcase a little more variety in his album by showing off some of his vocal skills on his tracks. He delivers music to his audience not only as a rapper but also as a singer. The album also contains features from other talented local artists such as Natasha, Craig Bone, Bev City as well as Denzel.

The album will contain 7 tracks which will be available for download on the OyOsMusic website for all his fans who will be eager to get their hands on his new release. Mudiwa has decided to go a step further in his latest production by making sure that each and every one of his songs has a music video. He will be selling a DVD album which is going for $10 whilst the audio album will be going for $5. The album was produced at No limits Studios by Jamal, Craig Bone, and Lee Kay. Mudiwa is relieved to finally release his new album after channeling his efforts into the album for two years and he hopes it will become a huge success.
